Two women allegedly stole a checkbook and credit cards from a woman’s purse in a Crystal City grocery store.
The victim was eating at a grocery store in when the women took her checkbook and credit cards, Arlington County police said. They made hundreds of dollars worth of fraudulent purchases at various stores with the stolen credit cards and checks.
The victim received notices from retailers about bounced checks.
The Arlington County Police Department’s Burglary/Larceny Unit is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the women from a surveillance image.
