Confrontation Over Dog Poop Ends in Robbery Arrest

A confrontation between two women over a dog's poop in Fairfax County, Virginia, ended in a robbery arrest, police said.

Fairfax County Police said 38-year-old Misty Freeman was with a dog who was defecating in the 6800 block of Oxpen Court in Franconia on Tuesday when another woman who was driving a car pulled over to ask Freeman if she would pick up the dog's feces after it finished.

According to police, Freeman ignored the question and the woman parked her car down the street and approached Freeman.

Freeman then took her cellphone out to record the interaction and the woman did the same.

Police said that Freeman then knocked the woman's phone from her hands and hit her on the back.

Freeman then picked up the woman's phone and drove away, police said.

Police later responded to Freeman's home in Alexandria, where she was attempting to file a police report. There, police found the victim's phone and they arrested Freeman for robbery.
