Parents and students shared their thoughts on the 20 D.C. public schools -- most in wards 5 and 7 -- that could close because they're under capacity.
The DC Public Schools have announced a series of public hearings on its proposal to close 20 public schools.
The hearings are:
City Council Hearing: Nov. 19, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Ave.
Ward 8 Community Dialogue: Nov. 27, 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Savoy Elementary, 2400 Shannon Place, SE
Ward 7 Community Dialogue: Nov. 28, 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Sousa Middle, 3650 Ely Place, SE
Ward 5 Community Dialogue: Nov. 29, 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Langley Elementary, 101 T Street, NE
Wards 1-4 and 6 Community Dialogue: Dec. 5, 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Brightwood Elementary, 1300 Nicholson St., NW
