Columbia Mall to Hold Moment of Silence

The Mall in Columbia will hold a moment of silence Saturday to remember the victims of the Jan. 25 shooting.

The moment will take place at 11:15 a.m. at the Center Court fountain memorial, where white lapel ribbons will be handed to mall patrons. Mall patrons can also leave messages for the victims at the temporary storefront at Zumiez.

The honorary moment of silence comes a week after the deadly shooting spree by College Park resident Darion Marcus Aguilar, who injured five people and killed three including himself.

The mall reopened to the public Monday.
