Two suspects are in custody after an armed robbery and police chase through Arlington and Alexandria in northern Virginia.

It began at about 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to police, with a robbery at the Best Western Pentagon in the 2400 Block of South Glebe Road.

The suspects in an SUV were chased by Arlington Police.  They crashed at Cameron and Fairfax streets in Old Town Alexandria.

One suspect was arrested at the crash scene. He suffered minor injuries.   Another ran into City Hall, and was arrested after a brief search.

Police said the SUV involved in the chase had been carjacked on Central Avenue in Prince George's County earlier in the day.

Police said the suspects also struck another vehicle during the chase, injuring a person. Those injuries are said to be non-life threatening.
