A 28-year-old woman is dead and a 21-year-old is seriously injured after an apparent hit-and-run in Prince George's County, Md.
Police originally reported the victims were children.
Both victims suffered life-threatening injuries when they were hit at the intersection of County Road and Walker Mill Road in District Heights Wednesday evening, police said.
The car did not stay at the scene, police said. They are looking for a gold, 1990s Honda.
