Delicious news in Fairfax County, Va.: Beginning in May, public elementary school children will be able to choose chocolate milk again.

Shenandoah Dairy met the school system's standards with a new, low-fat chocolate milk. Fairfax County Public Schools requested the elimination of high-fructose corn syrup without adding more sugar.

Shenandoah Dairy developed a formula, Fairfax County Public Schools said, and it passed a taste test of finicky Fairfax County students.

The new chocolate milk will be available beginning May 2.

Middle schools and high schools are getting the new formula, too.
