Police say two children aged 7 and 9 were hospitalized following a crash in Ashburn Thursday afternoon.
Crews responded to the intersection of Belmont Ridge Road and North Star Road around 4:30 p.m.
A dump truck collided with a passenger vehicle, driven by the grandmother of the two children.
A 7-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy were hospitalized; one with serious injuries and the other with life-threatening injuries.
