A boy about 4 years old was hit by a car in Montgomery County Tuesday evening, officials said.
The child was walking near the intersection of Georgia Avenue and August Drive in Silver Spring when he was hit by a driver, a Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said. The child received serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Information on the cause of the crash was not immediately released.
