Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE A young Rockville girl is in critical condition today after a tragic accident yesterday.
The girl, who was estimated to be about 2 years old, was critically injured after falling from a window and onto a deck, according to Montgomery County officials. Fire department spokesman Captain Oscar Garcia says the girl fell about 10 feet from a home in the 1000 block of Grand Oak Way at about 3:20 p.m. Wednesday.
Garcia says the girl was unresponsive when emergency responders arrived. She was taken to a hospital with injuries that are considered life-threatening.
