News4's Darcy Spencer reports on the search for a carjacking suspect, who police chased briefly overnight before a crash at Chevy Chase Circle in Northwest DC.

Chevy Chase Circle has been re-opened after a car crash led to a search for a carjacking suspect by D.C. and Montgomery County Police.

The accident happened near the intersection of Connecticut and Western Avenues at around 4:45 a.m. and resulted in one vehicle being overturned. Only minor injuries were reported at the scene. It is not clear how many people were affected by the crash.

D.C. Police confirmed that one of the cars involved in the crash was an Acura that had been carjacked on Kalorama Circle earlier Sunday morning. The crash had occurred after a "brief pursuit" by D.C. Police.
