Check Your Powerball Ticket: $1M Winner Has Not Claimed Prize

If you bought a Powerball ticket in Virginia, this weekend, check your numbers -- you might be a millionaire.

A ticket worth $1 million was sold in Leesburg, Virginia, and the winner has not come forward, Virginia Lottery officials said Monday.

The winning ticket for Saturday's drawing matches the first five numbers in the drawing -- 11-17-40-50-62 -- but missed the Powerball number, which was 26. The ticket was sold at Gasmart #2 on James Monroe Highway.

The winner has to contact the Virginia Lottery to collect the money within 180 days of the drawing date.

If you have the ticket, sign the back right away to establish ownership, lottery officials said.

Because no number matched all six numbers, the Wednesday drawing has a $361 million jackpot.

The odds of winning $1 million in Powerball are 1 in 11,688,054, according to the Virginia Lottery.
