Several warming centers will be open in Charles County, Md., to help residents cope with blustery temperatures.
Temperatures will drop and winds will speed up, making it feel close to 0. Winds will only get stronger during the morning hours, with wind gust of up to 50 mph between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Friday.
The freezing temperatures could cause slick roads, power outages and even hypothermia.
The following buildings will also operate as warming centers on Friday and Saturday:
