A newly renovated facility to help small businesses get started is now open in Fairfax.

The Mason Enterprise Center is a  joint venture between George Mason University and the city of Fairfax.

The new facility offers a wide range of amenities that can help new businesses, including office space, Internet, telephones and a receptionist.

The center also features a "shark tank" area to train start-ups on dealing with corporations and investors with whom they're trying to do business.
