A man who carjacked a taxi at a Metro station in Prince George’s County led police on a chase to the Bay Bridge Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
A man who implied he had a gun carjacked the taxi at the Addison Road Metro station.
The pursuit continued for more than 40 miles to the Bay Bridge, where police used a tractor-trailer to block the eastbound lanes of the bridge, police said.
Police arrested 24-year-old Chauncey Wayne Slaughter of Suitland after the taxi crashed into the back of the trailer, authorities said. He suffered injuries to his face and was taken to a hospital.
