“Security Deficiencies” Reported at Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Plant

Federal nuclear safety inspectors issued a preliminary report that revealed some "security deficiencies" at a Maryland nuclear power plant.

According to the Baltimore Sun, the findings were discovered at the Calvert Cliffs nuclear power plant in Lusby earlier this year.

Inspectors won't go into detail about the security deficiencies, but said the problems have been fixed.

This was the second special Nuclear Regulatory Commission inspection of Calvert Cliffs in two years.
