A small bus and SUV collided near an intersection of Westphalia Road and Pennsylvania Avenue in Forestville, Md., shortly after 3 p.m. Friday.
Ten passengers were on the bus going to Melwood, a nonprofit center that provides services for people with disabilities, when the collision occurred. Two passengers were in the SUV and one was trapped for a short period of time and transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The people in the bus suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital as a precaution. There is no word on the condition of the second person in the SUV.
The cause of the accident is currently being investigated.
