Montgomery County, Md., firefighters battled a bus fire in North Bethesda Thursday morning.

Firefighters were called to Marinelli Road at Rockville Pike at about 5:20 a.m. to put out the fire on a Ride-On bus.

All westbound lanes of Marinelli Road at Route 355 were shut down.

Firefighters extinguished the fire quickly, but the water froze quickly, making the road icy. Salt trucks were called to help.

No injuries have been reported.
