Just days after surviving a massive fire, residents at the Forest Park apartments in Silver Spring are suffering another setback.

Montgomery County police said several of the units were robbed and property stolen.

Residents said the property manager promised to board up their doors and windows, but that didn't happen. The management has since had all of the apartments boarded up.

Police have no word on a possible suspect or suspects into the robberies. Fire investigators said an electric socket near a bed caught the mattress on fire, which quickly spread to other floors.
