A woman said a strange man she found in her apartment attempted to sexually assault her.
The 40-year-old woman said she found the strange men in her apartment in the 8000 block of Chanute Place when she entered about 10:45 a.m. Friday, Fairfax County olice said. He attempted to sexually assault her, but she fought back until he fled.
The attacker was described as a possibly Hispanic man in blue jeans in his late 20s standing 5-feet-6 inches to 6-feet tall with a thin build; short, black hair and brown eyes.
