Southbound Wisconsin Avenue is closed due to a broken water main at 5500 Wisconsin Avenue in Friendship Heights.
The 8-inch main was shut down at 8:40 p.m., according to WSSC. Not many customers appear to be affected.
These repairs usually take 4-6 hours, according to WSSC.
There's no estimate on when Wisconsin Avenue's southbound lanes will reopen.
