FAIRFAX CO., Va. -- Police arrested 40-year-old Lex McFarlane for allegedly selling bootleg movies out of the beauty and barbershop where he worked.

McFarlane sat in theaters and filmed new movies, then sold them out of the Ebony Barber and Beauty Shop on Richmond Highway, authorities said. He sold one undercover officer more than 100 DVDs over a seven-month period, investigators said.

McFarlane is the only suspect in this case, police said, but counterfeiting is a major problem in the area.
