Woman Pulled From Georgetown Waterfront Dies

A woman who was pulled from the Georgetown Waterfront Monday afternoon and hospitalized overnight in critical condition has passed away.

D.C. Fire and Rescue crews responded to 31st and K streets NW around 4:40 p.m. for a body face down in the water.

First responders attempted to resuscitate the woman, who was described as unconscious and not breathing.

D.C. police said the woman has been identified as 53-year-old Robyn McShay and her death has been classified as undetermined.
