A body was found in the Anacostia River Monday, D.C. police said.
Someone at the Langston Golf Course in Northeast saw the body near the Benning Road Bridge in Northeast about 1:45 p.m. Monday, officers said.
Police retrieved the body at Anacostia Park. It was taken to the medical examiner's office.
