A body found near the Baltimore-Washington Parkway on Saturday was that of a Maryland woman who went missing on Halloween, her family members confirmed.
Lisa Renee Wyche, 46, of District Heights, Maryland, ran out of gas Oct. 31 while driving on the parkway, police and her husband, Charles Wyche, said.
"She said the police were there and that she would call me back," Wyche said.
A U.S. Park Police officer stopped to check on her, but she assured the officer that she had made her own arrangements to get gas and did not need help.
A witness later reported seeing a woman who matched her description walking on the median of the parkway.
The next morning, Wyche's car was found still on the side of the road, but Wyche was gone.
Charles Wyche said his wife of nine years had kidney failure two years ago and had been on dialysis.

"You have good days and bad days," Charles Wyche said. "She might have gotten disoriented and went back, even though the gas station would have been forward."
U.S. Park Police officers on horseback had searched fields and woods near the parkway, and had searched daily with helicopter patrols, K9s and support from local jurisdictions. Park Police had also made intermittent road closures along BW Parkway between Route 197 and Powder Mill Road while searching.
Wyche's body was found Saturday, according to her family. Park Police have not yet confirmed the death.
Wyche's stepdaughter, Tiffani Randolph, started a GoFundMe page to raise money for the funeral.
"It is with my deepest regret that my family would like to inform everyone that my stepmother Lisa Wyche has been found," Randolph wrote. "It is under the most unfortunate circumstance and we appreciate the outpouring of emotional support throughout this trying time."
"Our blessing is that she's in a better place right now," Charles Wyche said.
