Prince George's County police are on the scene of a death investigation where a body has been found inside a burned out car.

Investigators discovered the body after putting out the fire, in an industrial park on the 2900 block of Kaverton Road in Forestville just before 1 a.m. Thursday.

The vehicle there was so badly burned the tires had melted and investigators were not immediately able to determine the make.  The body shape indicates it could be a Chevy Suburban.

Inside that vehicle, Prince George's County police said they found a male adult.  However, because of the intensity of the fire, officers were not immediately able to make any other identification, or determine a cause of death.
