A secret Santa of sorts helped make the holidays cheerier in Virginia Tuesday morning.
A News4 viewer identifying himself only as a “big guy with a beard” paid off all the items in layaway at a Sterling Toys “R” Us store near Dulles Town Center, the store manager confirmed.
This layaway Santa said the balance was about $2,000.
He doesn’t want publicity for himself but wanted to spread the word hoping to inspire others to similar charitable acts this holiday season.
