Montgomery County police said a bicyclist who struck by a car in Rockville early Saturday night has died.
Officers responded to East Gude Drive and Southlawn Lane and found Samuel Vigil, 37 of Rockville, who was critically injured. He died at an area hospital later that evening.
Police said Vigil was riding a bicycle and crossed E. Gude Drive while he had a red light. Vigil was struck by an Acura, driven by Monica Min, 23, of Gaithersburg. Min was transported to Shady Grove Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The collision remains under investigation.
