Attempted Abduction of 13-Year-Old in Va.

A 13-year-old girl was the victim of an attempted abduction Wednesday morning in Bealeton, Va.

It happened around 7 a.m. as the girl was walking in the 10900 block of Blake Lane on her way to a school bus stop. She had just passed a white van with two men inside when she heard someone approach her from behind.

The assailant grabbed her but the girl struggled free. She ran to the bus stop and then ran home.

The incident happened in the Meadow Brooke Subdivision.

A suspect is described as approximately as 5'7" to 5'8" and in his 30s. A composite sketch is above. The suspect's vehicle was described as white van with a sliding door on the passenger side.
