Beacon Hill Bandit Apparently Strikes Again

The serial bank robber known as the Beacon Hill Bandit appears to have struck again.

He's believed to have robbed the same bank branch six times since 2010. On Thursday, he apparently struck another location in Annandale, Va.

Authorities say he approached a teller at the bank branch located at 7209 Little River Turnpike and demanded "20s and 50s," handing over a plastic bag for the cash. However, he ultimately fled the bank without the cash, and was seen getting into the passenger side of an older model white Jeep Cherokee.

The suspect was was described as a black man, about 5'11" tall with a medium build and a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a dark T-shirt over a gray long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, dark sneakers and a plain navy blue baseball cap.

A suspect fitting a similar description robbed a TD Bank near the Beacon Hill Shopping Center in Alexandria six times between March 2010 and September 2013.

In each of those cases, he successfully made off with undisclosed amounts of money and fled on foot.

The FBI has issued a call to the public asking for any information that will lead to his arrest. Anyone with information regarding the investigation is being asked to contact the FBI at 202-278-2000, or the Fairfax County Police Department at 703-691-2131.
