Baltimore Holds Modell Viewing

Saturday viewing at M&T Bank Stadium

The family of Art Modell and the Baltimore Ravens paid tribute to the team's late owner with a public viewing Saturday.

Modell's casket was placed on the field at M&T Bank Stadium, and a card saluting him was given to all Ravens fans who attended the two-hour viewing.

The Lombardi Trophy presented to the team after their Super Bowl XXXV victory was placed beside his casket.

Modell, who died Thursday at age 87, moved the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore after the 1995 season, when they became the Ravens.

The NFL has requested that all teams observe a moment of silence or other appropriate gestures in memory of Modell this week.
