A crash closed the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel for about 90 minutes Wednesday morning, said Maryland Transportation Authority Police.
Police say a car exiting the tunnel crossed over into oncoming traffic and caused a six-car crash around 8 a.m. The tunnel reopened about 9:30 a.m.
Maryland Transportation Authority Police Sgt. Jonathan Green says one person sustained life-threatening injuries and three others have non-life-threatening injuries. All four were taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Green said investigators were looking into why the car crossed over into oncoming traffic.
