Baby Monitor Battery Recall

The Consumer Protect Safety Commission announced Wednesday the recall of about 800,000 batteries in a popular video monitor for infants.

The batteries in Summer Infant video monitors can overheat, causing burns. The company has received 22 reports of overheated and ruptured batteries. The monitors were sold nationwide between 2010 and 2012, click here for a full list of models and more information from the CPSC.
