Investigators said arson is to blame for an apartment fire in District Heights Friday night.

Prince George’s County Fire investigators said the blaze caused at least $10,000 in damage to an apartment on the 5th floor of the Oakcrest Towers complex on Brooks Drive.

A firefighter and one resident were treated on the scene for smoke inhalation and transported to a local hospital for treatment. Residents were allowed to return to their condos.
