Prince George's County police say two women and a man were shot to death in an apartment in Oxon Hill.
Police Lt. Kirk McLean says the Friday night shooting does not appear to be a random act of violence. Police were called to the 1400 block of Southern Avenue for a report of gunfire Friday night just before 10:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found the three victims dead in an apartment.
The victims have been identified as Lakeysha Walters, 40, her daughter, Shaneka Walters, 25, and James Gibson, 45.
On Saturday night, police announced they arrested Clifford John Browne, Jr., 34, of Capitol Heights. Investigators said they believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute.
