Gunmen Rob 7-Eleven in Northeast DC

Wearing ski masks, the men took money and merchandise before fleeing

Two men robbed a 7-Eleven store with handguns early Monday morning, police say.

The men were wearing ski masks when they entered the store in the 300 block of Hawaii Avenue NE just after one a.m.

They took an unknown amount of money from the registers and merchandise from the store before leaving the scene, authorities said. They were last seen getting into a vehicle and driving on Taylor Street NE.

The gunmen were described as two black males with dark brown complexions, about 5'10 to 5'11," with slim builds. They were carrying handguns and wearing all black clothing and ski masks.

Police ask anyone with information on this case to call authorities.
