Armed Man Still on the Loose in Va.

Suspect had pointed gun at two women, robbed one of them

Police are searching for a man who robbed one woman and brandished a gun at another in separate incidents Sunday morning in Loudoun County, Va.

The Sheriff’s Office said a woman told them a man approached her in the 46500 block of Lynnhaven Square in Sterling, Va., waving a gun and telling her to drop several items and remove some of her clothes. The woman ran into her home, leaving her belongings behind.

A short time later, another woman who was unloading groceries in the 10200 block of Mckean Court said a man with a firearm pointed the weapon at her. She screamed and the suspect fled the area.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned, lack male, approximately 5’8” tall, with a medium build and was described as being in his mid-to-late 20’s. He was wearing a dark hoodie that was concealing his face. The suspect was possibly driving a small burgundy or red colored vehicle.
