Apartment Fire in Southeast D.C.

At least two people were treated for non-life threatening injuries

The D.C. Fire Department is investigating an early morning apartment building fire in the 700 block of 13th Street SE on Monday morning.

Officials say that just before 3 a.m., firefighters responded to the garden style apartment building for the report of a fire. When firefighters arrived on the scene, they were able to quickly extinguish the fire.

At least two people inside the building were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
