A second Alexandria police cruiser was stolen over the weekend.

The 2007 Ford Crown Victoria was parked and locked in the 1500 block of Princess Street at 11:30 p.m. Friday, police said. It was noticed missing at 4:35 a.m. Saturday.

A short time later, D.C. police found the cruiser in northeast D.C. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

A police cruiser taken from the 2700 block of Duke Street the previous night was found Friday afternoon in the Fort Washington, Md., area, police said.

A Remington 870 shotgun and a Panasonic Toughbook mobile computer were missing from that cruiser, police said.

Anyone with information about either theft should call police at 703-746-6711. Callers may remain anonymous.
