Anne Arundel Apartment Fire Displaces 30

A fire in Anne Arundel County Wednesday afternoon destroyed 12 units in an apartment building and displaced 30 residents in the Seven Oaks neighborhood of Odenton.

Firefighters saw flames coming from the back of the three-story building. They initially attempted to fight the fire from the interior of the building, but quickly evacuated as conditions deteriorated.

All residents managed to exit the building, and no injuries were reported.

It took 60 firefighters and 30 minutes to gain control of the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

This is the second fire in the same apartment complex this fall. There is no indication that the incidents are related.
