Alexandria Gas Station Targeted by Robber 3 Times in 1 Week: Police

Police Need Your Help Catching the Criminal

Fairfax County Crime Solvers wants help tracking down a robber who hit up the same gas station three times in one week.

Police said he ran off with stolen cash from the Mobil on Richmond Highway in Alexandria twice.

The first robbery took place Jan. 26 about 6:30 a.m. A man walked in, demanded money and fled on foot. No one was injured.

Two days later, he returned swinging a hammer, police said. The clerk complied with his requests and turned over money. Once again, no one was hurt.

Detectives believe the same suspect showed up again a few days later showing a knife. Luckily, he couldn’t get through the locked doors.

The suspect is described as a black male abound 35 years old with a possible mustache. He’s about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 190 pounds.
