Advice For Drivers Whose Cars Were Damaged by BWI Floods

Due to last week's record rainfall, some commuters at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport were dismayed to find that their cars had been damaged by flooding in the area.

Customers whose cars were parked in affected lots during the Aug 12 floods have been given the following advice by airport officials:

  • If your car was parked in the Long Term A and B parking lots at that time, contact the airport's parking vendor, Maryland Parking, at 410-859-9230.

  • BWI offers around-the-clock complementary help to all customers of the parking facilities.

  • Services include: help with a dead battery or flat tire and assistance if you lock your keys inside the car.

  • To access these services, contact Maryland Parking at the above number or use call boxes located in the airport parking lots and garages.
