A pair of accidents has slowed Friday morning's commute in both directions on Interstate 95 at the Springfield mixing bowl. One accident may have been a result of rubbernecking.

An accident in the Southbound lanes of I-95 is near the influx of cars leaving the Beltway. Drivers should stick to the two right lanes to get by.

Drivers in the Northbound HOV lanes of I-95 have another accident to deal with; they should  stay to the left to get by. The mainline (non-HOV) lanes are clear, but traffic is moving slowly.

A third accident just happened on the Inner Loop of the Beltway at Van Dorn Street.

Happy Friday, everyone!
