At the request of Baltimore police, Maryland State Police issued an AMBER Alert for an 8-year-old boy Monday evening.
The child was found unharmed on Tuesday morning.
Darrick Charles Brown went missing from the 300 block of Gwynn Avenue in Baltimore. He was believed to have been abducted by two black males, possibly in a newer, light green Ford Taurus with Maryland plates. Police said he was thrown in the trunk of the car.
Police spokesman Detective Donny Moses says the boy was found at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in an abandoned home in southwest Baltimore. Moses says police have one suspect in custody but did
not have the person's name.
