Wait one second. Haven't we had enough snow already this winter?
With more predicted for Monday, winter-weary Washingtonians might be cringing -- but not so fast, says NBC4 meterologist Chuck Bell. He says that the District should be facing no more than two inches of the white stuff Monday.
However, north and west of the city, residents could see up to three inches in Loudoun and Montgomery counties, or up to four inches in Frederick and Hagerstown.
While the snow could start as early as 10 or 11 a.m. Monday, Bell says it's likely coming later than we'd anticipated. That means it could be late afternoon or early evening by the time the snowfall gets going -- just in time to snarl an afternoon commute, "the maximum time of interference," Bell says.
If you're off for Presidents Day, consider yourself doubly lucky.
