6 Injured in Crash Along Indian Head Highway

Six people were injured when a car and pickup truck collided along Indian Head Highway Friday morning.

The crash happened about 1:40 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Indian Head Highway near Palmer Road, Prince George's County police said.

A four-door sedan crossed a median and struck a pickup truck head-on, police said Friday afternoon.

By 3 p.m. Friday, five of the six people injured had been treated and released from the hospital.

Three people injured in the crash were in critical condition at the time of the crash, police said. One woman was flown to the hospital while two others were taken to the hospital via ambulance.

Three additional people were taken to the hospital, but their injuries were not as serious.
