4-Year-Old Girl Struck by Car in Germantown

A 4-year-old girl is in the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Montgomery County, Maryland.

It happened Saturday on the 11600 block of Summer Oak in Germantown. Officials say the girl suffered serious injuries and was flown to a local trauma center. The driver of the striking vehicle stayed on the scene, according to police.
