Rescuers pulled four people out of the Chesapeake Bay Friday afternoon after the fishing boat they were in capsized, according to the Calvert County Sheriff's Office.
The incident happened at about 12:30 p.m. off of Breezy Point Beach.
Two people were taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The two others were also transported to a hospital with less-serious injuries, according to officials.
There was no immediate word on why the boat capsized.
