A three-year-old child accidentally shot himself in the chest this morning, Hagerstown police say.
The boy and a seven-year-old were playing outside when they found a gun. The gun went off while the three-year-old was handling it.
Police arrived on the scene shortly after 11 a.m. The boy was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
