3 Teens Charged in Robbery of Delivery Man in Loudoun County

Three Ashburn teenagers have been charged with robbing a delivery person in Brambleton, Virginia.

The suspects are a 16-year-old boy and two 17-year-old boys, said the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities say the victim was delivering food to a home at the 23600 block of Sailfish Square at 8:30 p.m. June 9 when he noticed three males standing near the side of the townhome.

One of them ordered the victim to drop the food and demanded money. He then showed the victim a gun in his waistband and asked for money a second time.

The three teens then grabbed the food and fled the area. Police searched the area with a K9 unit and found the food and a replica pellet gun.

Following an investigation, two suspects were arrested Friday; the third was arrested Saturday. All three are being held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center.

The names of the suspects cannot be released because they are juveniles.

They are charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
